APA Guidelines

This article provides a general guideline of Research paper format APA style, the space between the words is double on standard sized paper along with one margin in all sides. The font size must be readable to the reader. As APA recommended font style is Time New Roman and font size is 12 pt.

Also include a page header at the top of every page. It is also known as “running head”. You must include a page number on the right side and title of your research paper on the left hand side with all capital letter. There is a limitation of words in header because this is a small piece of area.

Major Paper Sections

Your research paper must include these elements; title page, Abstract, Main Body and References.

Title Page

The title page should contain the title of the paper, the author's name, and the institutional affiliation. Include the page header (described above) flush left with the page number flush right at the top of the page. Please note that on the title page, your page header/running head should look like this:

Enter your title name in upper and lower case letter, at the center of the page. APA prefer that your title must not exceed more than 12 words and also abbreviation is not a part of title or use meaningful words that demonstrate your topic. Abstract

On the next line after the abstract heading, give an accurate summary which reflect your main points of research. In abstract must include your research topic, questionnaire for research, people involve, process and techniques for data analysis, outcomes of your research and last conclusion. You can also provide the connection of your research where it is applicable and future of your research. Your abstract must be with in a one paragraph with double spacing. The words limit for abstraction is between 150 to 250 words.

You can also include a key point in your abstract. With a new paragraph list down your main point with different font style, this will help readers.
