Firstly we should know that what is social networking? Social network sites are the web based service provider with large number of users. It help people to bring more closer to the global village and the people living in that, help to talk with your friends and family. It also help to make new relation and find their old friend. Now a day’s people are connected large number of people on the internet and also develop new relations.
Imagine if the Facebook, what’s app and Twitter disappear for a time, how its impact on your life? We can suppose your life without these thing and especially youngster. Also all the technologies have good and bad impact on the life of people. So social media also influence our lives.

According to the survey it is found that:
·         The average time teenager spent on social media is 1.72 hours per day in 2015
·         The average number of hours a teenager spend on social media per week is 27 in 2015.

Social media is becoming an important part of our lives for almost all teenagers. People are spending more time without knowing its worst impact in lives. Either it is positive or negative. We live in that society where Facebook friends are more than our actual real life friends.
There are various good impact of it but on the same side there are very bad impact come due to large use of as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google +, Tumblr, Instagram, Proresearchpapers gaming sites, and blogs. For the right choice we describe some advantages and disadvantages of social media.
Some positive aspect of social media:
In education:
·         It is helpful for the teacher and student communication and exchange the course material
·         59% of student users report that they use social networking to discuss educational topics and 50% use the sites to talk about school assignments.
·         Students grade were improved.

For awareness:
·         27.8% people help to get their news online
·         Faster mean of information
·         Help to spread your business
·         Give information of your new brand opening
·         Provide an academic research for an online users.
·         Helpful for marketing a campaign.
Job opportunity:
·         It is helpful to find new jobs through online.
·         Employers find employees and unemployed find work. 89% of job recruiters have hired via LinkedIn, 26% via Facebook, and 15% via Twitter.
·         Social media sites have created thousands of jobs daily.

Some negative aspects of social media:
A Harm in Work and/or School:
·         Students easily cheating in their school assignment and projects
·         Grade of those students are suffer who append more time on social media
·         For every 93 minutes over the average 106 minutes spent on Facebook daily, college students’ grades dropped .12 points.
·         During the preparation of test, students who found online have lower marks in their test.
·         Social networking sites is also harm employees' productivity. Because 51% of users aged 25-34 checked social media at their work.
Lack of privacy:
·         Youngster are public their information like phone number, picture, which is very dangerous especially for the girls.
·         Hackers can hack the Facebook account and start black mailing for the sake of money
·         Most do not even read privacy policies and may be unaware that their information may be used by third parties, like advertisers, insurance companies. 21% of teens believe it is safe and harmless to post personal information, including photos.
·         Most corporate group, bank and insurance company take information to the users from social media.
·         If you like any page you will give access to that company or brand to your information.
More crime occur:
·         Social media help protester to spread the violence
·         Unauthorized sharing cause lots of problem
·         Security attacks such as hacking, identity theft, and phishing scams and viruses are common online.
·         Searching a wrong content is becoming very common.
Social Disadvantages:

·         Extensive online engagement is correlated with personality and brain disorders
·         Psychologically become ill
·         Less confidence for face to face communication
·         Children at higher risk for depression, low confidence, and eating disorders and more prone to feeling isolated and disconnected.
